F'Coffee Review

This is another great example of a fantastic, modern cafe that offers not just 'Freakshakes' but cakes, drinks, breakfasts and a lunch menu. Surrounded by natural beauty and hilly views, F'Coffee looks over the River Derwent in Matlock Bath, a popular destination for locals and visitors to Derbyshire. So we decided to venture out and see what all the fuss is about...

As we approached the shop, the front is modern, with a seating area to people watch. We were greeted with the smell of fresh coffee and sweet things, and of course the lovely staff. We sat and looked at the menu of 'Freakshakes' on wall, eventually choosing a 'Popscotch' and a 'Peanut Buttercup'. They both sounded fantastic!
After a short wait they arrived at the table in all their glory. Both were topped with huge doughnuts, and then with lashings of cream, sweets and treats; popcorn and fudge for 'Popscotch' and Reece's Pieces for 'Peanut Buttercup'. Everything about these works of art tasted and looked incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone, young or old to go and try F'Coffee, not just for the shakes but also to try the more grown up, savoury choices.
